How it works

From “something's not right” to “sorted” in one call

No apps, no jargon, no waiting in. Just a friendly engineer, your phone camera, and a proper look at what's happening.

1

Call or book within our hours

Ring us on the phone line, or send a booking request any time and we'll pick it up when we open.

2

Get a call almost instantly

If we're free, we'll video call you there and then. If not, we'll agree a time that suits you.

3

Expert guidance, face-to-face

Show us the problem on your phone camera and get clear, plain-English advice from your own kitchen.

What the call actually feels like

It's a conversation, not an inspection. We'll ask what's been happening, get you to point the camera at the boiler or controls, and talk you through what we're seeing as we go.

Sometimes it's a five-minute fix you can do yourself. Sometimes it's a part that needs an engineer on site — and you'll know exactly what to ask for, so nobody turns up guessing.

Either way, you'll come off the call knowing what's wrong, what it takes to put right, and whether it's urgent.

What to have handy

A phone with a camera

Any reasonably modern smartphone is plenty. We'll send a simple link — nothing to download.

Signal or wifi where the boiler is

If the cupboard is a signal blackspot, don't worry — we can talk you through and look after.

A bit of battery

Most calls run 10–20 minutes. Have a charger nearby if you're low.

A few basic tools

A torch, screwdriver, and a towel are usually plenty. Nothing specialist — we'll talk you through anything you need.

Safety first, always

We never ask you to do anything that needs a registered engineer. If it's a job for a visit, we'll say so.
